The Pivotonian Cinema, Cnr. Moorabool & Verner St. South Geelong
Join us for a relaxed and entertaining evening at Geelong’s only boutique cinema venue – The Pivotonian. See a superb arthouse film, catch up on all of the Foundation’s recent activities and meet some like-minded people who care as much about making a difference as you do.
A spellbinding performance by the late, great Aretha Franklin is captured in Sydney Pollack’s 1972 film – finally brought to the screen after a long technical and legal battle. Be shaken and stirred by this transcendent masterpiece, dubbed by The Guardian as “one of the finest music documentaries ever.”
The films included in Spring Film are yet to be classified, so please check the classification closer to the release date.
Proceeds go toward The Melanie Jewson Foundation’s vital work in Vanuatu.
The film will start at 8pm sharp. Arrive from 7:30pm to enjoy a drink and a chat in the foyer.
